We walk across Austria
from East to West - about 625 miles.
Here is an introduction:

Dear Maria, thank you for your comments on my blog re Stroke, sorry for taking so long to return comments, have been away with my grandchildren. No you have not hurt my feeling, sorry to read that your father has also had a stroke 10 years ago, strange but that is when I had mine, 1998. I am a lot better and able to do things for myself with a lot of help from my wife, Patricia.
Wow a walk across Austria! Now that sounds like a lot of fun!! Gives me another idea for my “Bucket List.” It’s also interesting to see the red and white painted trail marker. We have seen these in Italy too. I now wonder if this is a universal trail marking in Europe? Once when hiking and climbing on the via ferrates in the Dolomites we ran into an elderly man going the other way from us painting the redlines. About an hour later here comes another elderly man painting the white lines. I have to say we got a kick out of that.

Hello maria!
Who is this charming boy?
This is my husband's 16 year old son Tim! He is really charming, I like him a lot! :)
